Terms of Service

Last updated: 10/24/2025

Welcome to Safe Haven Recovery Care (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using our website, booking services, or engaging with Safe Haven Recovery Care in any capacity, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Nature of Services

Safe Haven Recovery Care provides non-medical post-operative companion care for clients recovering from cosmetic and elective surgical procedures. Services are limited to comfort-based, supportive assistance such as transportation, light meal preparation, hygiene assistance, medication reminders, and general recovery support as directed by your surgeon.

We are not a medical provider, and our services do not include medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, wound care, medication administration, or emergency medical intervention. All medical questions or concerns must be directed to your licensed healthcare provider or surgeon.

2. Eligibility

To book or receive services, clients must:

  • Be 18 years or older.

  • Be medically stable and cleared by their surgeon for discharge.

  • Understand that Safe Haven Recovery Care is not responsible for medical decision-making or emergency care.

We reserve the right to decline service if a client’s condition falls outside the scope of non-medical care.

3. Bookings & Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due as outlined in your Financial Consent and Payment Policy.

All payments must be completed prior to or on the date of service. Safe Haven Recovery Care accepts payments through approved digital methods only (no cash).

Rescheduling or cancellations are subject to the terms described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding their medical history, surgery details, and post-operative instructions.

  • Follow their surgeon’s medical guidance at all times.

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and cooperative environment for the caregiver during service.

  • Refrain from asking the caregiver to perform medical interventions or activities outside the stated scope of care.

5. Confidentiality & Privacy

We respect your privacy and protect your information to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Safe Haven Recovery Care is not a HIPAA-covered entity, but we handle all personal and medical details responsibly, ensuring discretion and confidentiality at every step.

For details on how we collect and store information, please review our Privacy Policy.

6. Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency, your caregiver will:

  • Immediately contact 911 or emergency services.

  • Notify your surgeon’s office or designated emergency contact.

Safe Haven Recovery Care is not liable for medical outcomes, delays, or complications arising from such situations.

7. Limitations of Liability

By engaging Safe Haven Recovery Care, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Our caregivers act solely in a non-medical capacity.

  • We are not responsible for any injury, illness, complication, or outcome beyond our stated scope of services.

  • Clients assume full responsibility for following their surgeon’s instructions and communicating any changes in their condition.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Safe Haven Recovery Care shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

8. Scheduling Changes & Service Modifications

We reserve the right to adjust, reschedule, or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, including illness, emergency, or unsafe working conditions.

In such cases, clients will receive a full refund for any unrendered services, but Safe Haven Recovery Care is not responsible for securing replacement care.
