PACKAGES & RATES

Safe Haven Recovery Care packages are determined by where surgery and/or recovery takes place, not by a client’s home address:

  • Clients recovering in Austin fall under The Austin Haven.

  • Clients recovering elsewhere in Texas fall under The Texas Haven.

  • Clients recovering outside Texas fall under The National Haven.

 

If you live in Austin but are traveling elsewhere for surgery, your care will be structured under the Texas or National Haven accordingly. This ensures clarity, fairness, and uninterrupted support throughout your recovery.

Travel & Accommodations

  • For Texas Haven and National Haven services, Safe Haven Recovery Care covers all personal travel, lodging, meals, and transportation.

  • Clients are not responsible for booking or reimbursing airfare, hotels, rental cars, or related expenses.

  • If a client prefers that I stay at their recovery location, I am happy to do so and can comfortably accommodate a guest room or shared space when available.

About 24-Hour Care Blocks

  • Texas Haven and National Haven services are reserved in continuous 24-hour blocks. This includes daytime care, overnight presence, rest periods, and on-call availability.

  • During this time, I remain fully responsible for your care and recovery support, even when you or I are resting.

  • Because this time is held exclusively for each client, partial days and hourly proration are NOT offered.

THE AUSTIN HAVEN

for those recovering within a 30-mile radius of Austin 

Description:

The Austin Haven is designed for clients who live locally or will be recovering within a 30-mile radius of my home base in Austin (78758). This option offers flexible, hourly recovery support without requiring a flat-fee or travel commitment.​ 

 

Care begins at your surgical center at the time of discharge or at your place of recovery and is centered around comfort, safety, and reassurance during the early stages of healing.

​

If you live in Austin but are traveling elsewhere for surgery, your care will be structured under the Texas or National Haven accordingly. This ensures clarity, fairness, and uninterrupted support throughout your recovery.

 

Includes:

  • ​Transportation to or from surgery and post-operative appointments, if needed

  • Medication organization and administration (per your surgeon’s instructions)

  • Comfort-focused support for pain and nausea

  • Observation and assistance with drains, dressings, surgical sites, wounds, and/or urinary catheters (per your surgeon's instructions)

  • Vital sign checks and reporting when requested by your surgeon

  • Assistance with showering, compression garments, and getting dressed

  • Gentle ambulation and mobility support

  • Meal preparation, nutrition guidance, and hydration reminders

  • Light housekeeping and linen refresh

  • Pet care, if needed

  • Recovery-related errands (prescription pick-up, grocery runs, restocking supplies)

 

Pricing:

  • $100 per hour (tracked and billed in 15-minute increments)

  • You are billed only for hours worked

  • No hourly minimum is required

  • For those who live >15 miles from my home-base, a separate $25 per visit travel fee is warranted

for those recovering elsewhere in the state of Texas

THE TEXAS HAVEN

Description:

The Texas Haven is an elite personalized concierge recovery experience for clients healing outside the Austin area but still within the state of Texas. This service is reserved in 24-hour blocks, allowing me to travel to your recovery location, remain fully available, and provide consistent care without hourly tracking or interruptions. Once care begins, your recovery window is held exclusively for you, whether or not every hour involves active tasks. For Texas Haven clients, I travel to your location one to two days prior to surgery to complete a meet-and-greet, assist with recovery setup, and familiarize myself with your surgical center.

 

Includes:

  • ​Me traveling to your recovery location within Texas

  • Pre-surgery meet-and-greet and recovery space setup

  • Continuous availability throughout your reserved care period

  • ​Transportation to or from surgery and post-operative appointments, if needed

  • Medication organization and administration (per your surgeon’s instructions)

  • Comfort-focused support for pain and nausea

  • Observation and assistance with drains, dressings, surgical sites, wounds, and/or urinary catheters (per your surgeon's instructions)

for those recovering outside of the state of Texas

Description:

The National Haven is a top-tier, personalized concierge recovery experience for clients healing outside of the state of Texas but within the United States. This service is reserved in 24-hour blocks, allowing me to travel to your recovery location, remain fully available, and provide consistent care without hourly tracking or interruptions.
